I am writing to inform you of the Labour Club's efforts to assist the cause of the students and teachers of the Golden Jubilee Secondary School in Hong Kong.

We would very much appreciate any action you can take on behalf of the teachers and students of this School, details of their struggle are enclosed together with details of a meeting to be held this Wednesday in the House of Commons.

The Labour Club and the Students' Union have afforded the delegation from the Secondary School secretarial and printing facilities.

We therefore hope that you or one of your staff will be able to attend the meeting. If you find it impossible to enter into the matter personally could you please urge the Foreign Secretary to give the teachers' views his most urgent consideration.
