The Students' Union of Precious Blood Golden Jubi- lee Secondary School was established in 1976 under the direc- tion of Sister Leung Kit-fun, the former Headmistress and Supervisor. Mr. Shek and the two of us were invited to be

We are sorry to say that we did not know that "the formation of a pupils' association is governed by the Education Regulations," We were just humble teachers obeying orders from the then Supervisor, Sister Loung Kit-fun. Bo, unless you declare that the formation of the former Students' Union was "illegal" and against the will of the former manage- ment committee, there should not have been the question raised in your last letter that "the collection of fees should be done after the association has been formed and not before." As a matter of fact, we have made it very clear to you that the money concerned is the fund left behind from studenta in October, 1976 after the establishment of the Students'
Union.
The Students' Union was dissolved last June after
the sit-in issue owing to the sudden announcement that the school authorities had not registered this body with the Education Department unl Sister Agnes 3iu, the then acting Principal, promised before all the teachers in the staff room that she would register the Union promptly, The students have been waiting for the registration since then. tember, 1977 onward, the studenty have tried every possible
way to ask the school authorities for a definite answer,
