Grant of laternity Leave to Married

APPENDIX 8
The maximum amount of maternity leave which may be granted
on full-pay will be the smo as that which is granted to teachers
in govorimont schools, that is, twelve wooks. The actual
amount granted ill be based on the recommendation of
the doctor,

Laternity leave in excess of twelve wooks will be
granted only as no-pay leave.
Maternity leave on full-pay shall be granted in respect of
four confinements only.
Thereafter maternity leave without pay
may be granted.
Part-time teachers are entitled to the award of maternity
loave on appropriate salary.
