Conditions for Award of Additional Increments

Certificated Laster/Mistress

(a) Entrants having acceptable teaching/practical experienco in excess of that required for appointment may be awarded

increments in the scale at the discretion of the Director of

ducation.

Antruits who have comploted three years of continuous full-time teacher training at a College of Education will be awarded two increments in the sc.lo.

To increments in the scale will be awarded on confirmation of

appointment at the end of the two year period of probation on first appointment to this grado.

(a) Serving Certificatod Masters/Mistresses who successfully under-

take a two-year part-time technical teacher training course at a Technical Instituto will be awarded an increment if they are not already at the top of the scale, provided they are teaching technical subjects.

Graduate Master/listress

(a)

Entrants having acceptable teaching experience will be awarded

increments in the scalo at the discretion of the rotor of

Education.

(b) Two incroments in the sc le will be awarded on confirmation of

appointment at the end of the two year period of probation on

first appointment to this grade.

(c) Serving Graduato lasters/istresses who acquire a post graduate

Diploma or Certificate in Education will be awarded an

additional increment if they are not already at the top of the

scale.
