The Head of a school with 12 to 17 classes is graded as Senior Master/Mistress.

# (2) Within the establishment of Senior Graduate Master/

Mistress posts, there are posts at the Senior Master/ Mistress level to provide the Deputy Head(s) of the school with more than 17 classes, and the number of such posts (to be offset by a corresponding reduction in the approved number of Senior Graduate Master/Mistress posts) is based on the following cirteria :-

(a) School with 18 to 23 classes

(i) One post as Deputy Head of a boys' or

girls' school

(ii) Two posts as Deputy Heads (i.e. one

Senior Master and one Senior Mistress) of a co-educational school

(b) School with 24 classes or more

Two posts as Deputy Heads.
