Salaries grant to

tuition fees.

13.

The approved salaries grant will be paid

monthly in advance, normally tofore the first day of the month in which salries are due, and will consist of the proved salaries for all teaching staff, laboratory tecnicians, and workshop instructors employed in accordance

with the terms of this Code of id less the income from

approved tuition fees. To reconcile the advance of

grants already paid out with the actual approve à expenditure, adjustment of over or under payment

may be made from time to time, but the final adjustment for the financial year will be made after the submission

of annual audited accounts.

Where an aided school with the writton permission of the Director operates a non-aided school in its school premises, or lets any part of its promises for

any purpose, any rental or profit received shall be

taken into account for purposes of calculating salaries

grant in such proportion as the Director ma detorni ne.

15.

The tuiton fee charged in school which is in receipt of aid under the terms of this Code of Aid, shall be subject to approval by the Director. Standard fees at all types of aided secondary schools are shown at Appendix 20

Unless otherwise permitted in writing by the

Director, the tuition fee shall be collected in ten

equal instalments payable on or after the first school

day of each of the months September to June inclusive; provided that supervisors may if they wish requiro

payment of the September instalment not earlier than

1st August.

17.

The principal may approve the remission of

fces in respect of pupils in need, and shall maintain a register of such remissions. The permitted lsvol of feo rondssion is set out at Appendix 2. However, the

Director may vary the level of fee remission in special

cacos.
