6. UK is one of the most generous contributors to High
Commissioner's programmes throughout the world. We have
earmarked already in 1978, £1.5 million for the UNHCR's
work in Indo-China. My Government now pledge, subject to
Parliamentary approval, a further £4 million.]
7. Pay a special tribute to the untiring efforts of the
High Commissioner and his staff to find practical solutions.
UK shall fully support him in this.

Willingness to join in constructive discussions to find
durable solutions.
