7. As to a campaign in the media, Lord Goronwy-Roberts said that it was for the Britain-Vietnam Association to take this up with the programme organisers themselves. Mr Gwilym Roberts interjected

that perhaps this was the job of the Vietnamese Embassy. Lord Goronwy-Roberts agreed that it was open to them to do so and commented that in this country at least there was no risk in pointing out to the media that there might be views other than those they represented, though no-one had the right to instruct the media on what they should present. The media were not, however, immune to a reasonable approach and this is what the Britain- Vietnam Association should consider.
