In his letter of 10 March to SEAD, your Ambassador sought our agreement to assume responsibility for operations in Saigon after Maideen's departure.

We agree in principle that we should send a couple of our officers to help organise an occasional flight, after the present exercise has finalised, acting under the aegis of your embassy. We can leave the details until later.
