1. My submission of 3 March attaching the minutes of the 5th Meeting of the Standing Committee suggested that

Lord Goronwy-Roberts, Mr Cortazzi, Mr Murray and I should discuss the course of action proposed at the meeting. Lord Goronwy-Roberts

agreed to this proposal.

2. I understand that 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 15 March is convenient to the Minister and I suggest that we meet in the
