1. At our meeting with Lord Goronwy-Roberts on 15 March to discuss social development in Hong Kong you suggested a meeting with the Government Actuary's Department to consider alternative schemes for social security in Hong Kong.
2. The person concerned in the Government Actuary's Department is Mr L V Martin, the Directing Actuary (equivalent to AŪS). From our side you suggested that the Special Economic Adviser, the Overseas Labour Adviser and myself should join you.
3. 3.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 22 March is convenient for all the parties. Provided you have no objection, the meeting will take place in your office.
