If the employer is ready to pay the money as stated in the two fore going paragraphs and deposits them with the Director- General or the person authorized by the Director-General to be paid to the employee, the payment of interest or additional money there of shall be suspended as from the time of such deposit.

Clause 27

All the monies paid by the employer as wages, overtime pay and holiday pay shall be in Thai currency. Payment in bill or in foreign currency may be made only with the consent of the employee.

In the case where it is agreed in the employment contract that payment shall be made in Thai currency in lieu of foreign currency, and vice versa, the exchange rate shall be based on the official rate on the date when payment is due, unless agreed otherwise.

The employer shall not pay wages, overtime pay and holiday pay, which are to be paid in money, by coupon or any other thing in lieu of money or bill under paragraph one.

Clause 28

Wages, overtime pay and holiday pay shall be paid to the employee by the employer at the place of work. If payment is to be made elsewhere, the employee shall give the consent to such.

Clause 30

The employer may not deduct any debt from the wages, overtime pay and holiday pay.
