Statutory provisions relating to overtime rates

For the first hour overtime, the overtime wage paid shall be 11⁄2 (one and a half) times the hourly wage;
For the succeeding hours of overtime, the rate per hour shall be two (2) times the hourly wage.
B. On weekly rest days or public holidays
1.
For every hour of work within the limit of 7 (seven) hours, there shall be paid a wage of at least 2 (twice) the hourly wage;
For every hour of work in excess of the above mentioned 7 (seven) hours, the wage paid shall be 3 (three) times the hourly wage.
1. "Wage" in this decision means every payment in money,
covering: basic wages, occupational allowances, cost
of living allowances and the money value of the worker's personal allowances in kind:

Monthly paid workers =
Daily paid workers

An employer shall pay more than fifty (50) per cent added to normal wage for overtime work (overtime as defined under Article 42 and Article 43), night work (between 2200 hours and 0600 hours), and holiday work.
