Article 2(1), Article 3(2) and (3)

For young persons of or over 16 years and under 18 years employed as registered apprentices in any industry or occupation

(a) the term "night" nay cover a period

(b)

of nine consecutive hours; and

the rest period granted between two working periods may be nine consecutive hours when such persons are employed on overtime.

This declaration supersedes a former declaration registered on 27 March 1950 stating that a decision was reserved in respect of the application of this Convention to Hong Kong".

2. The Government of Hong Kong has agreed that a declaration in these terms should be made.
