INTERNATIONAL LABOUR CONVENTION NO 101 : HOLIDAYS WITH PAY (AGRICULTURE) 1952

1. I have the honour to refer to the letter reference (29) in SS 101/3/5683/58. dated 17 November 1977 from the Government Secretariat and to inform you that a declaration was registered by the Director-General of the International Labour Office on 27 January 1978 stating that the Holidays with Pay (Agriculture) Convention 1952 (No 101) will be applied to Hong Kong with the following modifications:

Article 1 The Convention is applied to all manual workers and to non-manual workers whose wages do not exceed HK$ 2,000 per month.

Article 10 There is no system of labour inspection in agriculture.

The declaration previously registered in respect of this Convention has been cancelled.
