WE AGREE THAT ALL REFERENCE TO CAPACITY SHOULD BE IN TERMS OF

L1011/DC10 AIRCRAFT TYPES OR QUOTE EQUIVALENT CAPACITY UNQUOTE, WITH NO MENTION SPECIFICALLY OF CPA'S B747 OPERATIONS.

2. WE ARE CONTENT FOR CPA'S REQUIREMENTS TO BE EXPRESSED AS PROPOSED IN TUR, IE

(A) 10 L1011 SERVICES OR EQUIVALENT CAPACITY PER WEEK ON A ROUTE

HKG/INTERMEDIATE POINTS AS SPECIFIED IN 1973 ASA/JKT/DPS/PER. (B) NOT MORE THAN THREE SERVICES PER WEEK OR EQUIVALENT CAPACITY MAY GO BEYOND JKT TO DPS OR PER, BUT NOT BOTH.

3. WE AGREE WITH THE DOT'S MATCHING OFFER FOR GARUDA, BOTH IN TERMS OF ROUTE SCHEDULE AND ROUTINE RESTRICTIONS.

4. FOR A LONG TERM AGREEMENT, WE AND CPA WOULD HAVE NO OBJECTION

IF PERMISSION WERE GRANTED FOR A GARUDA TRANS-PACIFIC.. OPERATION TO HNL AND SFO. IN EFFECT, THIS WOULD MEAN REVERTING

TO THE ROUTE SCHEDULE OF THE 1973 AGREEMENT GIVING THE INDONESIANS CONSIDERABLE ADDITIONAL EARNINGS OPPORTUNITLES. IN AGREEING TO THIS, CPA WOULD ALSO WISH TO REVERT TO THE 1973 ROUTE SCHEDULES AND APART FROM THE OBSERVANCE OF GOVERNMENTALLY AGREED FREQUENCY/

CAPACITY LEVELS, BOTH CPA AND GARUDA WOULD BE FREE TO OPERATE FREELY WITHIN THE AGREED ROUTE SCHEDULES AND WITHOUT UPLIFT OR

· DISCHARGE RESTRICTIONS ON ANY SECTOR.
