getting the wrong impression about UK intentions from the Australians. We would not however be able to say the same to Singapore since we would have to cut SIA's services on the Singapore/London route
(from 7 to about 3 a week). It would probably be best to say
nothing and let the Australians make all of the running with
Singapore initially.
