Your Petitioners therefore respectfully beg that Your Majesty will see fit to direct that a brief for the redevelopment of the area known as the Tsim Sha Tsui Peninsula should now be reconsidered with participation of independent experts, and that any plans for the redevelopment of the area should include as two of its requirements
a)
the preservation of the KCR building and its assimilation into such plans;
b)
the preservation as a recreation area of the wooded hill at Tsim Sha Tsui and the Old Marine Police Station building which is situated on this hill.
