A BILL

TO

Amend the Railways Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the

advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

Short title.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Railways

(Amendment) Ordinance 1978.

Amendment of long title. (Cap. 99.)

2.

The long title of the principal Ordinance is

amended by deleting "railways" and substituting the

following

"the Kowloon-Canton Railway".

Amendment of section 2.

Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is

(a) inserting after the definition of

"assistant general manager" the following

definition

""deputy general manager" means the

person appointed by the Governor

to act as deputy general manager

of the railway;";
