My family have been living for generations in the Northern Section of Lamma Island, Yung Shue Wan and depending on fishing to make a living. I am now the holder of a fishing licence No. 93A for trawling operations in the Polo Tsui area. Recently, I learnt from a newspaper that Government proposed to allocate that area to the H.K. Electric Co. Ltd. for development purpose. I wonder if it is true. If that area is really to be developed by the Company, I fear that my fishing trade might be affected.

I therefore have no atternative but to raise my objection, and beseech your department to commiserate my difficulty, so that I can stop worrying about the matter.
