of this was not fixed before the Governor left but he and Mr Yasui, Vice President of the Keidanren and head of Toray, spoke of it during the Governor's dinner and I think that Sir Y K Kan will try to reach full understanding on the details when he is in Tokyo in the middle of December.

4. Personally it was a great pleasure to see so many old friends from Hong Kong here in Tokyo. Many of them are so very well known in their own right here that there was no doubt that their reception would be a good one, and certainly in my view it was as good as could have been expected in every way.
