AGREEMENT
BET.EEN THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC COMUNITY AND HONG KONG ON TRADE IN TEXTILE PRODUCTS
THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,
of the one part, and
THE GOVERNMENT OF HONG KONG,
of the other part,
RECOGNISING the importance of trade in textile products between the European Economic Community (hereinafter referred to as the "Community") and Hong Kong,
HAVING REGARD to the Arrangement regarding International Trade in Textiles (hereinafter referred to as "the Geneva Arrangement") and in particular Article 4 therof; and to the Protocol extending the said Arrangement (L/4516). torether with the Conclusions adopted on 14 December 1977 by the Textiles Committee,
HAVE DECIDED to conclude this Agreement and to this end have designated as their Plenipotentiaries,
