2. I am sure that the contents of your letter of 23 March to Derek Cornthwaite will have calmed many of ICI's apprehensions. It was kind of you to go to so much trouble to set out the Hong Kong Government's thinking; I know that Mobels in the UK were anxious lest all their planning had been on the wrong lines.
