Suitability and Acceptability of Product

"Provide details of the range of products that will be manufactured in Hong Kong both for local use and export indicating type (cap sensitive or not), size, and quantity."
Both Hong Kong and export cartridged explosives market needs can be supported with two grades of Tovex® as manufactured in Hong Kong; Tovex® 200 and Tovex® 800. Both are cap sensitive and are particularly well suited for hard rock blasting in boreholes of 6-1/2 inches diameter or less. Product size and forecast 1980 production quantities follow.

be met with Du Pont Pourvex® Extra or a Bulk Pump Truck
system.

Du Pont Tovex® technology was introduced in Hong Kong in 1973. Shortly thereafter, in 1974, the first shipments of Tovex® were made from the United States. The following table summarizes, by grade and size, the quantities of Tovex® sold in Hong Kong from 1974 through 1977 and their application.
