HONG KONG PATROL CRAFT

I attach a brief note prepared after our meeting with Secretary for Security Hong Kong. I intend it purely as an internal record of action agreed.

1.

2. It is perhaps worth emphasising that both at the meeting itself and during his discussions with AUS (NS) the previous day, Mr Davics was primarily concerned with defining the working relationship between the Navy Department and Hong Kong Government and with ensuring that everyone appreciated the difficulties which he will face in processing the requirement for replacement patrol craft through the committess in Hong Kong.
