Freight. All freight with the exception of personal weapons would be packed in boxes which should not exceed 150 lb in weight. Boxes should not be metal banded or have any protrusions that could damage the aircraft floor. No Dangerous Air Cargo (DAC) may be loaded.

Weapons. Personal weapons would be hessian wrapped in bundles of 5, with the exception of sidearms which may be worn in the aircraft.

Ammunition. In accordance with the instructions, only boxed personal scales of ammunition may be moved on the airlift. The balance of the unit's first line scales would be made available on arrival in Hong Kong.
9. Documentation. Each chalk commander would be in possession of a Flight Manifest showing the number, rank, name, religion and Next of Kin of each passenger in the chalk. A duplicate copy would be retained by the unit Rear Party. Each soldier would carry his Identity Card and the appropriate innoculation and vaccination certificates.
10. Movement to Airfield. The battalion would move to Brunei International under its own arrangements.
DEPLOYMENT

CPA have authority to use Clarke United States Air Force airfield in the Philippines, should a diversion airfield be required.
12.
Sufficient fuel can be carried from Hong Kong for the round trip including any diversion to Clarke airfield.
13. Ground crew, technicians and freight handling conveyors can be positioned in Brunei on the first outbound flight from Hong Kong.
14. The best dispersal to use for inbound flights at Hong Kong International is the Long Term Parking Area.
ACTIVATION
15. The airlift would be activated by HQ BF Hong Kong, on the authority of the Chiefs of Staff, working in conjunction with the Commercial Director of CPA or his nominated representative.
16. As soon as possible after receipt of the request for the airlift, CPA would pass the following information to HQ BF Hong Kong who would, in turn, inform the Brunei battalion:

The number and types of aircraft to be deployed to the task,
The estimated time of arrival at both Brunei and Hong Kong International of each sortie.
