In accordance with the References approval is given for five members of the Hong Kong Mountain Rescue Team to undertake training at the RAF CAC Llanrwst during the period 19-30 June 1978, proceeded by training liaison visits and joint exercises with RAF mountain rescue teams at Stafford and St Athan. Personnel details and visit itinerary are at Annex A.
2. The terms of DCI S140/74(RAF), as amended by D Accts A 9000/100 dated 18 November 1977y ration and accommodation charges are to be forwarded to MOF Accounts 11a2, Bath, for retrospective recovery. less and personal bills are to be recovered locally. Training for the period 19-30 June only is to be charged at the Extra Cost Rate. The remainder of the visit is to be regarded as an attachment without charge. However, should any charges arise under paragraph 6 of the above DCI they are to be notified to Accts 11a2 Bath for recovery at the Extra Cost Rate.
30 Information and equipment graded up to Restricted may be made available to these students on the need to know basis.
4. Matters requiring liaison with the Hong Kong Civil Aid Services, including any admission to hospital or absence of more than 48 hours, should be reported to the Assistant Directorate of Training (Ground)(RAF), by telephone if necessary (Adastral House Ext 7190).
