ARTICLE 5

The Government of the United Kingdom shall, at the request of the Government of the State of Brunei and within its capability, continue to assist in the recruitment of persons for service in civil posts in Brunei and in the training of Brunei officials.

ARTICLE 6

This Agreement shall enter into force on 1 January 1979 and shall not be limited as to its duration.

ARTICLE 7

Either High Contracting Party may, at any time after the date of entry into force of this Agreement, give to the other notice in writing of its desire to terminate the Agreement and in such case this Agreement shall terminate at the expiration of one year from the date of such notice.
