1. In a manuscript minute on r McLaren's submission of 9 August, Sir A Duff asked us to show papers on this subject to Planning Start.
2. At ir Thompson's request, I took the papers to ir J E Cornish, Deputy Head of Planning Staff and explained briefly the background.
3. I attach a minute from r Cornish which contains his initial views on Mr McLaren's skeleton draft. He would like to be kept in touch with the progress of this paper.
