VISIT OF DIRECTOR OF AGRICULTURE AND FISHERIES HONG KONG

Thank you for your invitation to attend the mooting with Ted Nichols, Director of Agriculture and Fisheries, Hong Kong, on Wednesday 30 August.

I would very much have liked to be present, and to have met Mr Nichols, but I will be on holiday with my family in Eire by that time. Perhaps I could see Nichols' paper after my return to the office early in September.

I visited Hong Kong last November, and expressed my concern then about a number of environmental issues, including the way that limited agricultural land was being lost. Ted Nichols may like to have the attached copy of my visit report, if you would be good enough to pass it on to him. Also if he would like to get into contact with me after his return to Hong Kong, I would be delighted.
