MORNING AND LUNCH WITH HOME AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT

1. The Home Affairs Department deal with information and community relations. Some current campaigns are designed to encourage road safety, limit pollution and increase public support for the police. However, the Department's most important function is to keep the Hong Kong Government in touch with public opinion. To do this they have a system of City District Officers covering the urban areas to improve contacts at the grass roots level.
