The Bill was approved by the Executive Council on To introduce the Bill 14th March for introduction into the Legislative Council. The Finance Committee accepted the financial commitment on 26th April 1978.
Draft Regulations concerning X-ray and medical examinations are being finalised. An Executive Council memorandum is being drafted.'
Regulations finalised but held in abeyance pending amendment of the definition of "industrial undertaking" to ensure the legal powers of the Commissioner for Labour to regulate construction sites.
