To resolve major policy problems related to constructing extensions to the Modified Initial System which cannot be settled within the specialist committees dealing with land acquisition, planning and construction work.

(a) The Tsuen Wan Mass Transit Extension (a) The Reference

Reference Committee, under the chairmanship of the Secretary for the Environment, has continued to deal with high level decisions concerned with the extension.

Committee will continue to meet as required to resolve policy issues.

(b) The first major contract No. 302 for (b) Monitor progress
