Purpose

Legislative measures are being examined by the Inter-departmental Working Party on the Review of the Workmen's Compensation Ordinance. A stop-gap administrative arrangement whereby charitable funds are pooled to finance the repair and renewal of prostheses and surgical appliances will be finalised shortly.

The reorganisation will be implemented by stages commencing from 1st October. Accommoda tion for the various regional and district offices is being acquired.
