Mr Hurst to draft a letter to the Governor asking him to write to the Secretary-General of the TUC inviting him to Hong Kong during his visit to Japan in March next year.

Royal Hong Kong Police Force:

To record our concern about the possibility of corrupt policemen continuing to serve in the Police Force, and in view of the possibility of Pas to seek the Governor's views.

Hong Kong Legislation:

To draw the Governor's attention to our concern that legis- lation in Hong Kong should be modernised, especially the laws on corporal punishment and homosexuality.
