In pursuance of instructions from Her Majesty the

Queen through the Secretary of State for Foriegn and

Commonwealth Affairs, I appoint -

Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire,

Justice of the Peace, to be an Unofficial Member of the

Legislative Council of Hong Kong from 1st September 1978

until 31st August 1980.
