It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, by Instrument under the Public Scal, to appoint the Honourable D. AKERS-JONES (RA), CMG, JP, provisionally and subject to Her Majesty's pleasure, to be temporarily an Official Member of the Executive Council with effect from 6 July 1978 during the absence from Hong Kong of the Honourable I. M. LIGHTBODY (RA), CMG, JP.
