A Joint Select Committee has been appointed by the Bermuda

Legislature to consider Capital Punishment here and I have been

asked by the Chairman of the Committee, Dr. W. H. C. Masters,

M.P., to write and ask you to be kind enough to send to me, for

the information of the Committee, copies of any recent Reports

on Capital Punishment that have been published in the United

Kingdom, Barbados, Bahamas, Canada and Jamaica.
