At the last meeting of the International Committee it had before it the following resolution on Bermuda from West Derbyshire CLP. The terms of the resolution are as follows:-
"The West Derbyshire Constituency Labour Party
deplores the continued use of the death penalty in any remaining British possession and with dismay contrasts the readinesss to send troops to Bermuda with its failure to take action to prevent the illegal execution of British subjects by the rebel Rhodesian regime".
