I am afraid I have only had time to glance at the report, which, in its present form, is likely to be read only by the most ardent numismatist! I therefore welcome the idea of a summarised version being sent to OAG's (and desk officers).

In answer to paragraph 5 of your minute, the Falkland Islands do not normally treat the subject confidentially and I am somewhat at a loss to understand why they should have sent their reply to the Bank's questionnaire under confidential cover. As it is presumably not the intention to reveal future issuing plans in the summary, I see no reason to omit reference to the Falkland Islands from material given general circulation.
