In my minute of 21 December addressed to

Mr Stewart and copied to Messrs Dale and

Beattie I mentioned that we would discuss the

subject after the holidays.

2. We would like to have the first ' get-

together as soon as possible . May I suggest

3pm on Thursday 5 January 1978 ?. If this

poses a problem could we aim at 3pm on Friday

6 January ?. I believe that Thursday is

convenient to Messrs Quantrill and Dale but I

have not been able to speak to Mr Beattie on the

telephone. If I do not hear from you to the

contary by noon wednesday 4 January, I will

presume Thursday is convenient. I will notify

the place later.
