1. I am puzzled by your request for briefs contained in your minute of 31 January. I do not understand why CSAD are asked to contribute to a brief for the none self-governing committee as well as providing a contingent brief on Namibia. is not a colonial situation and I would have thought that any brief on this subject is a matter for UND (in respect of our smaller territories) together with Rhodesia Department. I imagine however that South Africa, will be raised at the IPU so would you like me to produce a/brief on South Africa and her apartheid policies?
