2. We shall be interested to learn whom you
propose to nominate as head of the ICAC. As
you will appreciate this is a politically
sensitive appointment and Lord Goronwy-Roberts
will wish to be consulted before a decision on
this post is made.
3. If you agree with the timings proposed in & Cater paragraph 1, I will put the appointment to
the Board, and will let you know the outcome.
Perhaps you could also let me know how you
would like the announcements handled.
