1. In the light of the views expressed by Lord Goromwy 'Roberts and Mr Rowlands, and in view of Mr Cortazzi's and Mr Duff's willingness to withdraw their objections, I agree that we need not reconvene the Dependent Territories Senior Appointments Board to look at Mr Davidson's appointment again, but that that appointment should stand.
