1. I am directed by the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs to inform you that Her Majesty The Queen has been pleased to instruct that your appointment as Deputy Governor, Bermuda, shall be extended for a further year until the end of April 1979.

2.

During the period of the appointment you will be seconded

from the Hong Kong Government Service and will remain on the

pensionable establishment of the Hong Kong Government.

3. Your other terms of service will be as set out in the

letter to you from Mr J S Champion dated 11 February 1974.
