Mr Godden was appointed to Grade 5 on 1975 (though with seniority backdated to 1970). He is just coming up for confirmation of promotion in that Grade. There would seem to be little doubt but that he would be very highly motivated to accept and make a success of a job which would entail his further promotion to Grade 4. If he were to go to Anguilla for two years in March there would just be time to give him another job in the Grade.
