I agree with the recommendation in the papers attached to your recent minute, that Mr J C Strong's name should be submitted to The Queen for appointment as Governor of the Turks and Caicos Islands. I do not know Mr Strong personally, but those in our Africa Division who do are impressed by him, and on the papers he seems an altogether suitable candidate.
