Your application will be considered by the Hong Kong Government in competition with those from other candidates and all relevant factors will be taken into account. Candidates-at-present abroad should note that if they are selected for interview, they will have to pay for their journey to the United Kingdom themselves. Any appointments will be dependent on passing a strict medical examination and the submission of this application will be regarded as indicating willingness to be examined and to furnish the Consulting Physician with details of medical history.
The Hong Kong Government cannot inform unsuccessful candidates of the reason for their rejection. Any attempt to gain special consideration by the use of political or other influence will disqualify the applicant. Any wilful misstatement will render the candidate liable to disqualification or to instant dismissal if engaged.
