Vacancy for Judge of the High Court
I attach a notification of a vacancy for a Judge of
the High Court and, on the advice of the Judicial Service Commission, recommend that it be filled by the promotion of Mr F. Addison, District Judge.

In accordance with the usual practice, the Chief Justice consulted the Attorney General, the Registrar General and the Director of Legal Aid to ascertain whether there were any officers in their departments whom they would wish to nominate for considera- tion. The Attorney General, the Registrar General and the Director of Legal Aid did not make any nominations. The Chief Justice nominated seven officers for consideration.
