These examples illustrate the disparity in the levels of pensionable emoluments enjoyed by Governors under the present arrangements and the need to put matters on a more equitable footing. The introduction of the UKRPE system within the Governors' Pensions Scheme seems to us to be the most sensible way of achieving this, particularly as other HOCS officers already enjoy similar treatment.
